LykIQ Labs Private Limited built the rentl app as a Free app. This App is provided by LykIQ Labs Private Limited at no cost and is intended for use as it is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at rentl unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Name, Mobile number, Email. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Android Permissions
When you use the rentl app on Android devices with API level 16 & above, we’ll ask you for certain permission to enable features when they require additional information from your device.
Details as below:

The permissions listed below include both those that are surfaced as prompts (in the current OS) as well as those that are listed to users at install time (on older versions of the Android OS). .
Identity
Find accounts on the device add or remove accounts read your own contact card. If you already have a Google Sign-In account on your device, rentl will use these permissions to auto-fill your email address and allow you signIn.
Contacts
Read your contacts
We’ll ask you for this permission to access your contacts if you choose to use certain features such as when you use "refer & earn" or "share" in rentl. If you opt in, the app will be able to access the address book on your phone and display the contacts within the rentl app so you can easily scroll and select the right contact without jumping between apps. rentl will not share your contacts with anyone else or reach out to any of your contacts on your behalf without your permission .
Location
Approximate location (network-based) precise location (GPS- and network-based)
You'll see a request to access your location information when you sign up for rentl. If you opt in, the app will collect and send location data to rentl's servers anytime you're using the app & Only if app is running in foreground. We use location data to find "rental properties" near you and help you to navigate to your potential property for tenancy. To troubleshoot and solve software bugs, and generally to customize and improve the location-based services we provide. In addition to your device GPS, we may use other methods to improve the accuracy of this information if Location Services are enabled, including satellite and nearby wifi signals.
SMS
Receive text messages (SMS) send SMS messages (SMS) read your text messages (SMS or MMS)
When you sign up for rentl, we send a 6-digit verification code, via SMS, to the mobile number that you provide. The “Receive SMS” permission allows the rentl app to look for that incoming SMS message and automatically verify your mobile number. In some places, our integrations with third party Payment processors require the "Read SMS" permission in order to facilitate two-factor-authentication (2FA). The "Read SMS" permission is only requested when required for these integrations. Only the content of verification and 2FA messages are sent to our servers. The “Send SMS” permission lets you automatically send invites to contacts you choose without leaving the rentl app. It is also used in the 2FA scenario described above. We will never send invites to your contacts without your direction.

The app requests access to initiate phone calls in the phone app so you can contact your interested property owner with one click within the rentl app.
Photos/Media/Files

Camera
Take pictures and videos
The rentl app will ask to access your camera when you add a photo to your rentl profile (if you select "Take New" instead of "Choose Existing"). Camera permission is used to take pictures of the property in the rentl app. You can add an existing photo to your profile by granting access to your Photos.
Wi-Fi Connection Information

rentl uses this permission to see if a Wi-Fi connection is available, which helps improve the speed and accuracy of data used to display maps in the app.
OTHER
use accounts on the device
This permission creates Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) tokens that rentl uses to send you notifications.
Read Google service configuration
This permission is required by Google Play Services to use Google web-based services (Google Maps API v2 in rentl's case). Google doesn't explicitly provide documentation for this permission, but the above link will refer you to the relevant documentation around using the Google Maps Android API.
Full network access
This permission is required to access the internet, including communicating with rentl's servers, connecting with third-party services, and downloading map data.
Control vibration
This permission allows the rentl app to vibrate your phone when something important happens, e.g. when you receive a notification that your driver has arrived.
Prevent device from sleeping
This permission wakes up your phone when a notification is received.
Use network connections
This permission is used to notify you when a network connection is unavailable.

If you use rentl on iOS, we’ll ask you for permission to enable certain features when they require additional information from your device. (If you're an Android user, please see our Android App Permissions.) Below are more details on the permissions we ask for and the data we collect. You can edit your rentl permissions anytime by going into the Settings app on your device.
Location
You'll see a request to access your location information when you sign up for rentl. As a default, the app asks for your location "while using the app." If you opt in, the app will collect and send location data to rentl's servers anytime you're using the app & Only if app is running in foreground. We use location data to find properties near you and help you to navigate to your potential property. Push Notifications
After you sign up for rentl, but before you search for your property, you’ll be asked to choose whether you want to receive push notifications. If you opt in, the Apple Push Notification Service generates a unique token for your device and shares it with rentl so we can send Push Notifications to your phone . You can read more about how Apple Push Notifications work here. If you opt out of Push Notifications, you'll still
receive updates about your rentl bookings by text message (these communications are not optional) and as well as email receipts. You can update your preferences in your phone's Settings app.
Camera
The rentl app will ask to access your camera when you add a photo to your rentl profile (if you select "Take New" instead of "Choose Existing"). Camera permission is used to scan QR codes or to upload property photo's in the rentl app You can add an existing photo to your profile by granting access to your Photos.
Photos/Media/Files
Used to set setting of profile pictures and uploading Property pictures. We will never share your profile photo's without your consent To save receipts to local storage
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
